I do love, however, your idea of using kimchee instead. Now that's a dish I want you to try!Hungry Doghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09176958081093165894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34927862.post-84788295547788411772010-11-10T09:28:45.656-08:002010-11-10T09:28:45.656-08:00Get this, I was at the grocery store yesterday and...Get this, I was at the grocery store yesterday and there was a woman debating with the customer service lady about what kind of food she was holding. A couple other workers checked it out, too, but the location of the food hadn't been labeled, so nobody knew.

It turned out to be napa (after about the sixth person was asked), and I was immediately intrigued. I'd seen napa before, but never in -my- grocery store, so I was tempted to go get some. Had no idea what to do with it, though, so I resisted. Now I'm wishing I had picked it up because I have everything else on hand for this dish except for the napa. :(Quirky Jessihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02137254995257596391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34927862.post-41750995904332953382010-11-09T21:43:57.333-08:002010-11-09T21:43:57.333-08:00I understand your writing with no problem; might b...I understand your writing with no problem; might be that I live in Hawaii. This dish sounds good; I would add some shitaki mushrooms. That would give it more flavor. And instead of using chili oil; maybe the Chinese XO sauce. Yum!

Thanks for sharing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34927862.post-21358779761468277812010-11-09T18:44:13.896-08:002010-11-09T18:44:13.896-08:00What a delicious spicy noodles. If you are getting the right amount of heat, that half cup of water is needed to help cook the cabbage (with steam), and all of the water will be gone in about two minutes.

Since I'm picking nits, I enjoy your blog but your grammar drives me nuts. When the pork is in the pan, "it" might look like worms, but unless you are referring to pork pieces, don't say "they".Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34927862.post-74648346231267239792010-11-09T15:10:46.689-08:002010-11-09T15:10:46.689-08:00I'm always looking for quick meals to make for...I'm always looking for quick meals to make for work lunches.
